CSA-Commercial Supply Assurance
CSA-Commercial Supply Assurance
Concept, Engineering and Business Briefing. After exchanging mutual Non-Disclosure agreements we engage in a completely free concept, engineering and business briefing, where we discuss your project and answers all your questions to discover if we are a good fit for each other.
Do we share your passion?
Our Project Life Cycle strategy means we operate at low cost in the Product Development stage and make our returns in Manufacture, doing all we can to help entrepreneurs and Inventors.
Here at CSA we do our research.
Ensuring we are as excited to get your product to market, as you are.
Using the information discussed in the CEB Briefing we engage in our own market research, product validation, Best guess bill of materials & cost estimations.
Happy we are on the same page CSA present an outline of approach and costs.
We are in this together.
Agreements: The client maintains ownership of all work, designs and processes.
Strategy : Each project begins with a strategy session where we work with the client to map out where we are going and determine the path we expect to take.
Competition and Inspiration: Building on our prior market research we take a deeper look at the products already on the market, building on what's already out there to create something new a innovative.
We build concept models as to finalize the 3D CAD assembly of the concept. These proof-of-concept models/rough prototypes and testing; enable our engineering team and designers to evaluate critical features, dimensions, and geometries. Concept models may be too heavy, too big and too ugly, but they work. While they may not look like a store-ready product, they enable us to gauge the effectiveness of your design and help us identify aspects that need to be improved or changed.
Combining your Ideas/designs with new knowledge based on Industry research and testing of the concept models, we update the 3D CAD model, make an alpha prototype, test some more, tweak the 3D model, make a beta prototype and so forth. Iteration is key to perfecting the product, and how long this process takes is directly proportional to how complex the product is.
Throughout the product development process we apply all best practices for simplifying the product structure and reducing the number of components to minimize the manufacturing and assembly costs. As your combined product development and manufacturing partner we know the product inside out considering ever hurdle to overcome.
While CSA oversee the production, quality control and delivery, we outsource the manufacture and assembly labour to qualified partners. We find and qualify these partners as with all our suppliers with a rigorous vendor selection process. Working with our partners we produce the Assembly Instructions and Quality Plan for your product.
From the outset the industry standards for your product in your target market and beyond are a massive part of our design process, effecting the choice of suppliers, materials, electronics and testing. We consult with our Shipping partners to ensure all certification for import and sale are correct and test by shipping beta prototypes under invoice through customs.
Ensuring that it makes sense to invest additional money in your product through the use of crowdfunding, pre-sales, focus groups and more.

Together we have now developed a product with a proven market that is ready to manufacture, through constant involvement in the design process, our production and supply chain take over seamlessly.
Sourcing, Manufacturing and Fulfilment are involved in the development from Onboarding by reviewing the current state of your product development, providing strategy, including scope, budget and timeline. If CSA is your development partner, then we will already have a thorough knowledge of the product.
The key to finding the perfect factory is developing a Request for Proposal Packet. This sets us up to facilitate communications, quoting and negotiations about factors such as value engineering, tooling strategy, schedule and pricing. From there, we’ll help you select the right factory.
Once we’ve worked to select a factory, your product will move into pre-production. The factory will make tooling and oversee sample production. Then, we’ll work with the factory to develop a quality plan, complete all necessary lab testing and certifications, and finally, finalize pricing and terms.
Once your product is ready to move into mass production, we’ll update your production schedule, finalize your production purchase order, and set up factory visits for Quality Assurance (QA) of all critical suppliers before production begins. Once production has begun, we directly supervise and control supply for final assembly, ensuring CSA are the only ones with all the parts to produce your product and preserving your IP.
CSA constantly employ supply chain analysis and strategic sourcing methods to find opportunity to save money and we pass on those savings to our clients.
